Hannah Wengård is a multi-disciplinary artist, actor, and cultural producer working across performance, music, visual art, and socially engaged practice.
A self-described “professional master of none,” she brings a wide-ranging creative and strategic skillset to her work. In the last years, she has appeared as one of the lead actors in the BBC & Stellify Media drama documentary Titanic Sinks Tonight, supported artists and cultural projects in securing funding from grants and foundations, and contributed to initiatives including musicians Emelie Hollow, Kanaan, and GiddyGang, as well as the festivals Ekko and MiniFjorden in Sandefjord, Norway.
Alongside her work in performance, Hannah writes and releases her own music, has composed original scores for film—including a short addressing sexual harassment—and creates visual art using watercolour, ink, and linoprint. Her practice also encompasses videography and photography, which she integrates into installations and wider visual expressions. This interdisciplinary approach has led to collaborations with artists and theatre-makers, including creating album artwork and vinyl sleeves, designing posters, shooting press images, and documenting live performances through film and photography.
She currently works with Doctors Without Borders in development and as a workshop facilitator, and serves as a trustee for Pan Intercultural Arts. In this role, she supports fundraising, safeguarding, and communications for a charity working with vulnerable communities across the UK, including young migrants and refugees, survivors of trafficking, and those seeking safe spaces for creative expression and connection.
Hannah holds a BA (Hons) from East 15 Acting School and a Master’s degree in Global Creative and Cultural Industries. Her dissertation, “Playfully Radical: Exploring Cultural Democracy in the Performing Arts through Improvisation,”reflects her ongoing interest in accessible, participatory arts practices. She is also a trained Mental Health First Aid Instructor and integrates trauma-informed approaches into her work as a facilitator and collaborator.
